The Protective Safety Canopy

Air Cleaning Blowers, LLC took a different approach from most in developing personal PPE—we developed a system of passive protection, which means that the user does not have to take any action, such as putting on a mask or a shield to protect him or herself.
The Protective Canopy works in a revolutionary way to help keep germs in the air from reaching the faces of your workers, your family and other people around you.  They provide protection to people and products in close contact with the public, with ill patients, and with others who could exhale disease-causing germs in their direction. 
Protective Canopies work by first filtering the air clean with an Air-Cleaning BlowerTM (ACB) then blows the clean air gently downward to form a cone of protective that air blocks or carries away germs exhaled by others away from the faces of people within the cone.  The Protective Canopies’ cones of air will also help protect your customers, your other workers and your family members by trapping and carrying away germs that the cashier, meat packer or nurse might be exhaling.

How Protective Canopies Differ from Other Air Purifiers
Many air purifiers you see are small and often require a lot of maintenance.  In addition, they generally clean air only in rooms and other enclosures.  The work recirculating the air, “purifying” each time it passes through the device, until finally cleans out enough of the dust, allergens, germs and other particles in a confined space so that the average concentration of contaminants reach a tolerable level.  That approach can work in a small-enough confined space where there is not much turnover of air, but it won’t be adequately effectively in a store, hospital or factory with many people coming and going, doors opening and closing, and a central heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems constantly pumping in new air. 
Perhaps most important, these room-cleaning devices, in contrast to   Protective Canopies, can not focus their protection on the person who needs it most nor give anyone immediate protection.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic the quality of indoor air had become a great concern. The Air Cleaning Blower™ can help provide that clean, safe air—along with several additional benefits. Some of the additional benefits include: sustainable energy consumption, steady airflow and air pressure and no filter media that needs constant attention or replacement.
The most common and conventional air-filtration systems use filter elements and function by blocking and collecting the dust and dirt that they remove.  As a result of collecting the debris, their filter elements have a limited life and require monitoring and maintenance to assure proper performance of the system. Because there is no filter element inside the ACB, there is no filter clogging and ACBs incur no filter maintenance or replacement costs and eliminate the increases in energy consumption caused by clogging air filters.


Air Cleaning Blowers™ Work Simply:
As other fans do, the Air Cleaning Blowers™ use an impeller inside to move air through itself.  However, Air-Cleaning BlowersTM (ACBs) go one big step further:  their multi-patented technology enables the impeller, mounted inside a specially-designed, housing to utilize the momentum of the contaminants in the air in novel ways to separate the particles from the air and eject them.  They then push the cleaned air to the application.  Simple, but effective, extremely effective.
